People from India, especially medical students from R. G. Kar Medical College are very friendly. Delegates from Indonesia and other countries were invited to learn about Arterial Blood Gas Analysis, ECG, and also allowed to see Caesar operation for the first time.
Delegates from Indonesia were also offered to enter the anatomy building and department. One of Indonesia’s delegates said that R. G. Kar Medical College has better cadaver than Indonesia’s Medical School. For example, if we want to see the lungs, we must dissect it first and then see it from the full body. That kind of concept would make us better trained to perform surgery.
Each delegate got a very positive impression, they feel the warmth of the familiy from medical students in India. They also performed a vocal group and traditional dance to show India's medical students the culture of Indonesia and talents that Indonesia have inside the medical students.
Last but not least...
“You won’t know India, before you get there.”

meet the expert 2016
Many medical students are just struggling with books, books, and books. Well, no offense but that’s the fact and the wrong concept. It’s true that we need lifelong learning to be a good doctor, but it’s not true when we only live our lives just to read books. We might had a small world after all, but within that world stored many experiences.
Therefore, AMSA-UAJ once again organized Meet the Experts on 16th of April 2016 to open the eyes of medical students who still have the stigma that’s less precise for themselves. By inviting speakers who are highly experienced and qualified, AMSA-UAJ help medical students to change the stigma.
This is the list of all speakers:
1. Representative of AMSA District 2:
a. Fidia Tania (AMSA-UAJ)
b. Fistyanisa Elya (AMSA-UKI)
c. P. Zharifah (AMSA-UPN)
d. Jason Bustam (AMSA-UPH)
e. Sopaka Udakadharma (AMSA-UNTAR)
f. Felix Kurniawan (AMSA-UI)
g. Franklin W. (AMSA-UKRIDA)
h. Heike E. Hatoyama (AMSA-USAKTI)
2. National Team:

b. Sylvia Wijaya
c. Desak Made Nugrahartani
d. Bill Vitalis
e. Felix Lee
f. Safara Nurul Laela Wairoy
3. International Team:

b. Michael Sie Shun Ling
They shared all of their experiences, both good and bad. They were so inspiring and encouraged us to be more courageous in facing new things and not just struggling with something that is just ordinary, but try to seek new experiences.

LTTN 2015
1st of December 2015
It began with an intention that’s so simple, to open the minds of the children in the “Karena Kasih” Orphanage, we (AMSA-UAJ members) held the activity called LTTN. LTTN (Little Things They Need) is the real action that AMSA-UAJ did to enrich the life of a nation through cute little kids. The “little things” for this year are books. Yes, books certainly have the power to help them see the world further ahead.
Although previously, class of 2015 had undergone OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination), by the time we saw the children’s enthusiasm that shine through their eyes, we all became more vibrant. After all the attendances came, we started this LTTN activity. MC started with short introduction about the orphanage.
After that, each of us was paired with kids at “Karena Kasih” Orphanage. Most of them can make a good teamwork, although sometimes some of them get away from ongoing games.
Speaking about games, all the games held there were very exciting and made all of us happy. (Big applause for the committees who made the awesome games). To make these games more challenging and interesting, the games champions on LTTN 2015 were awarded with interesting prize. Those Champions are Harfandy and his little brother, Musa Nionsen for the runner up and Natasha Vinita and her little sister, Marcella for the first place. Also we had the most favorite team, Aldi and his twin brother, Kiki.
Last but not least, our special gift for them that started with the opening of a screen at the end of this event was a small cute library. What about taking photos? Yes, of course we didn’t forget about that! We took pictures together with our little ‘brothers’ and ‘sisters’. And finally it’s time for us to go back; nothing can replace the sadness that we had for leaving them too soon. We just met them, even less than 10 hours. But for us, they all have a face to call home.
