AMSA DAY 2018
On the 8th of December, AMSA UAJ celebrated its 20th birthday at Piknik by ArifInn. The event started with an icebreaking game by the MC and continued by having a photo-taking competition that requires the member to take the best photo and post it on their Instagram.
After enjoying the food that was provided, everyone gathered to hear the news about the new 4 house leader. The new Dumbledore was also announced. After that, everyone sang the birthday song and ended it with cutting the cake.

Once again we celebrated the happiest day for AMSA especially AMSA-UAJ. Yes, AMSA DAY is an event, which was held to celebrate AMSA-UAJ’s birthday. This year wasn’t like the other years. Year 2015 is a special year for AMSA-UAJ because we reached year 17th!! As we all know, 17 years old is the end border of teenagers’ range, and start jump to more mature age. Similar with AMSA-UAJ which has became the best within years because of innovation and intention to improve many things.
Erschaffen, which means ‘to create’, was our AMSA DAY’s theme this year. We agreed to choose Vintage Dine & Lounge, Falvor Bliss, Serpong as a most suitable place to provide this big event for AMSA DAY.
All the audiences looked very enthusiastic and excited during the activities prepared by the committees, even more outstanding with Mitsi and Glen as the MCs at this event. This year we had a special guest from several well known universities such as AMSA-UI and AMSA-UPH which represented by Felix Kurniawan, Lara Aristya, Enzo Sapuandi, and Oliver from UI, Sylvia Wijaya, Bill Vitalis, Jason Bustam, and Jane Lorens from UPH.
Aside from the tasteful foods and beverages, the attractive games, and also the closing of 2014/2015 committees, in this event, AMSA DAY gave the most active member, narcissistic member, the best house, best EC, best suit, best dress, and social butterfly of the year awards, which goes to:
1. Best house: Aerith
2. Best EC: Glen Lazarus, Jennifer Evangelica, Laurencya Lunarizky
3. Most active member: Michael Jonathan
4. Most narcisstic member: Nanda Wibowo
5. Mr. Smith (Best suit): Jason Bustam
6. Mrs. Smith (Best dress): Nanda Wibowo
7. Social butterfly of the year: Chintya
There was also the election of new the Dumbledore and also the Heads of the four Houses.
AMSA DAY was very impressive, even more for the senior members of AMSA, which obviously very unique, especially for AMSA-UAJ. We as a newcomer (2015 generation) felt very touchy watching the video, which was showing all AMSA activities several years before.
We know AMSA DAY is very important for all members of AMSA-UAJ to evaluate and introspect and decide which one to be maintained, to be improved and what things to be changed totally to find the best result for AMSA-UAJ.
